The goal of this project was to optimize the pipeline of creating a clothing asset for an Adobe Fuse Character from scratch, for animating and further use in Unreal Engine. Adobe Fuse is a new 3D character creator app, part of Adobe Creative Cloud. These files are then imported into Fuse CC. Once your sculpt is ready, you extract the texture maps along with a low-resolution mesh of the custom body from your sculpting software. ![]() Got a character with huge hair and want to drop a helmet on? To create a custom body for Fuse CC, you begin by sculpting over the base character mesh (.obj) provided in the Content Creator Pack. The clothing system in Adobe Fuse allows you to select different clothing options, which will automatically snap to your character, without having to deal with manually adjusting geometry.
